Venkatesh and Trivikram's Aadarsha Kutumbam moves to October 9

Fans waiting on the Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas combination will have to hold on for seven more days. Aadarsha Kutumbam House No: 47, widely called AK47, has been moved from its announced October 2, 2026 date to October 9, 2026. The makers confirmed the shift themselves, locking the new date for a worldwide theatrical release.

The team framed the delay as a promise rather than a setback. In their announcement on social media they said the film would arrive a week later but would bring blockbuster entertainment with it, and that Aadarsha Kutumbam now reaches theatres on October 9th. Reports say the extra time is meant to let the film land with the complete entertainment experience the team had in mind.

The teaser has already done its job. It places Venkatesh in a middle class family setting thick with humour, emotion and action, playing a character called Chittibabu who is house hunting with his wife. As she walks through the house and cracks jokes about it, Chittibabu is set up as the ideal man of an ideal family, which is exactly the tone Trivikram fans turn up for.

Srinidhi Shetty plays the female lead. The supporting line-up is deep, with Nara Rohith, Nivetha Pethuraj, Rao Ramesh, Satya, Brahmaji and Vennela Kishore all on board, along with Yuvina, Raj Prajwal and Udaybir Sandhu. That spread of comedy and character actors points to a film balancing family drama with laughs.

Behind the camera, Trivikram Srinivas has written and directed the film, with music by Thaman S, cinematography by Ravi K. Chandran and editing by Sreekar Prasad. S. Radha Krishna produces under Haarika & Hassine Creations.

Venkatesh was last seen in Sankranthiki Vasthunam, the Anil Ravipudi action comedy. After AK47, reports say he teams up with Nandamuri Kalyan Ram for January 12 Vidudala, again with Anil Ravipudi, set for January 12, 2027 alongside Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty. For now, the festive season slot on October 9 is the one to watch.
