Copyright and takedown
How we handle copyright, and how to tell us if we have got something wrong.

How we use other people’s material
Clapnumber reports on films and television. That means naming them, describing them, and showing official promotional images. We do not host video from any show; clips play from the rights-holder’s own channel. Images come from our own catalogue, from official promotional material, or from credited sources — never from paparazzi or exclusives.
If you own something published here
Write to grievance@clapnumber.com and we will look at it. Please include enough for us to act without guessing:
- What the work is, and enough detail to identify it.
- The exact page or pages on Clapnumber where it appears.
- Your name, your role in relation to the work, and how to reach you.
- A statement that you believe the use is not authorised by the owner or the law.
- A statement that the information you have given is accurate.
What we do next
- We acknowledge every notice within 24 hours.
- We resolve it within 15 days, and tell you what we did.
- Where the claim is clear we remove the material first and discuss afterwards.
- We keep a record of what we removed for 180 days, as the intermediary rules require.
If you think we removed something wrongly
If material of yours was taken down and you believe that was a mistake, write to the same address explaining why. We will review it, restore it if we agree, and tell you either way. Clapnumber makes the final call.
Repeat notices
An account that repeatedly posts infringing material will be closed.
