Chiranjeevi to Grace Sigma Pre-Release Event for Jason Sanjay's Directorial Debut

Megastar Chiranjeevi will be the chief guest at the pre-release event of Sigma, the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay, son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay. The event is set for September 25 at Park Hyatt in Hyderabad, with proceedings starting from 6 PM. His speech is reportedly one of the most awaited moments of the evening.

Sundeep Kishan plays the lead in Sigma, and Faria Abdullah is the female lead. Reports describe the film as a heist entertainer, and it is reportedly set for a worldwide release on October 2, 2026. The teaser and trailer are said to have been well received by movie lovers.

The supporting cast includes Raju Sundaram, Sampath Raj and Shiv Panditt in key roles. Reports also name Anbu Thasan, Yog Japee, Magalakshmi, Sheela Rajkumar, Kamalesh and Kiran Konda in important parts, which makes for a large ensemble around the lead pair.

On the technical side, Thaman S has scored the music. Cinematography is reportedly handled by Krishnan Vasant, while Praveen KL is said to be the editor. Subaskaran has produced the film under the Lyca Productions banner, and reports say it has been mounted on a lavish scale.

For the Telugu release, Mythri Movie Distribution is reportedly bringing the film to theatres. Having Chiranjeevi on stage in Hyderabad gives a first-time director's film a strong platform with Telugu audiences, just days before it opens in cinemas.
