Trisha Krishnan is not quitting acting, her team says

Trisha Krishnan is not walking away from films. Her team has denied recent reports that the actress planned to quit acting, and said she is still open to signing new projects.

The rumours grew while Trisha stayed out of the public eye. She has no immediate releases lined up, and she has kept a low profile during the political controversy around Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay. Some claimed she was avoiding the media because of speculation linking her to him, and that leaving acting would spare her more scrutiny.

Her team rejected both ideas. According to them, Trisha has no problem facing the media and no reason to skip public appearances or stay away from cinema. The one thing she wants to avoid is being pulled into politics.

On the Telugu side, Trisha is waiting for the release of Vishwambhara, which stars Chiranjeevi.
