Rashmika to join Vijay Deverakonda at Ranabaali pre-release event in Hyderabad

Rashmika Mandanna will join Vijay Deverakonda on stage at the Ranabaali pre-release event in Hyderabad. The period action drama opens in theatres on October 16.

She missed the recent trailer launch, and fans started asking why. Vijay said she had other work commitments. Fans now want to see the real-life couple share the dais together.

The promotions have also taken a political turn. Vijay and director Rahul Sankrityan sat down with Annamalai, the former Tamil Nadu BJP president, and J Sai Deepak to talk about colonisation, Indian history and the film. Mythri Movie Makers said in a social media post that the interview will be released on October 14.

Mythri Movie Makers produced Ranabaali, and the composer duo Ajay-Atul wrote its music. Reports say the story is set during the man-made famine in the Madras Presidency in the 1860s.
