Salman Khan has launched his own official YouTube channel. The page went live on Friday, October 9, and passed 14,000 subscribers in about an hour.
He announced it on his Instagram Stories with a short video. In it he recites the alphabet and then explains the idea behind the page, hinting that it will not stick to one kind of content.
The bio is brief: "Film actor. Artist. Painter. Humanitarian. This is my official channel." Ten Shorts were up at launch, all quick and light rather than long videos. No upload schedule has been shared yet.
Plenty of film stars already have channels. Down south, Allu Arjun and Mohanlal both run official ones.
Work keeps him busy as well. He is hosting Bigg Boss 20, his 15th season as host of the reality show.
On the film side, his next release is Maatrubhumi, the Apoorva Lakhia film earlier titled Battle of Galwan, with Chitrangda Singh. It has been delayed, and a new release date is yet to be announced.
Telugu fans have their own reason to keep watching. Salman is part of SVC63, directed by Vamshi Paidipally and co-starring Nayanthara, which is currently set for an Eid 2027 release.
