Fans crowded Dulquer Salmaan on the Visakhapatnam set of his Telugu film Sri Sri, and one woman slipped through his security to beg for a picture. The actor is shooting there with Pooja Hegde at an outdoor location by the beach.

Videos posted by fans on Instagram show Dulquer driving up to the set himself. As he walked to his vanity van, the woman got past the guards and shouted, "Please, one photo." His team, clearly irritated, formed a human chain to get him through, while another fan kept calling out, "Sir, sir, sir."

He did not stop at that moment. Later clips show him greeting fans near his van and posing for selfies and videos, and one admirer gave him a shawl in the traditional Andhra way. Footage of Dulquer and Pooja filming a beach scene, with the crew around them, has also surfaced online.

Cast and crew arrived in the city earlier this week. There is no word yet on how long they will stay.

Sri Sri is the first film from director Ravi Nelakuditi, with Sudhakar Cherukuri producing under SLV Cinemas. Ramya Krishnan, Jagapathi Babu, Dheekshith Shetty, Rao Ramesh and Sachin Khedekar also play key roles. It is one of two Telugu films Dulquer has lined up.

In Malayalam, his comeback film I'm Game came this year after the 2023 letdown King of Kotha. The Onam release got mixed reviews and earned Rs 47.94 crore worldwide. He did better as a producer with last year's Lokah: Chapter 1 Chandra, the top grossing Malayalam film until Bethlehem Kudumba Unit passed it this year. He was also seen recently in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual Kaantha.
