Alia Bhatt's 'Our Jee le zara' caption has fans asking about Farhan Akhtar's film

Alia Bhatt has fans talking about Jee Le Zaraa again. She captioned her new Mallorca holiday photos with just a few words: "Our Jee le zara."

The actor posted the album on Instagram on Friday. She is on the Spanish island with her best friend Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and a close group of girlfriends. The carousel has a group shot, a clip of Alia on a boat, selfies, the friends sitting down to a big meal and views of the island's streets. A red dress she wore is the standout of the set.

Akansha teased her in the comments: "So glad those selfies didn't make the cut." A few days earlier she had shared her own Mallorca pictures of blue water, green views and pretty lanes, along with a look at the villa where the group is staying.

Fans took the caption as a hint. "Is this the hint of the og movie announcement," one wrote. Another pleaded, "Not jee le zaraa pleaseeee."

Farhan Akhtar announced Jee Le Zaraa on August 10, 2021, exactly 20 years after his first film as director, Dil Chahta Hai. Alia, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Katrina Kaif were set to lead it. Reports say the project was shelved, and that Farhan may revive it with a new cast. He has not given any real update since.

Next up for her is Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, due in theatres in January 2027. She is also part of Tumbbad 2 with Sohum Shah and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
