Don't Trouble The Trouble trailer out: Fahadh Faasil plays a magician in a fix

The trailer for Don't Trouble The Trouble is out, and it puts Fahadh Faasil in a role Telugu audiences have not seen him in before. He plays Suri, a street magician whose tricks are all sleight of hand, a man the trailer compares to a cunning fox who can smell money but never the trouble that comes with it. The fantasy entertainer is set for a theatrical release on October 2, 2026.

Suri's luck runs out when he crosses paths with Divya, played by Ssara Palekar, a young girl whose magic is not a trick at all. Reports say he targets her for a ransom of one crore, only to learn she has powers he cannot explain. Divya admits that she made her own parents vanish, and she wants Suri to help her bring them back.

What starts as a scheme about money turns into an unpredictable adventure with supernatural rules of its own. Fahadh's physical comedy and his easy chemistry with Ssara carry much of the trailer, while the world around them stays odd enough to keep you guessing. The cut mixes comedy, action, emotion and magic without settling into one tone.

The title comes from Nandamuri Balakrishna's famous line in Srimannarayana, and the makers have brought the man himself in for the voiceover. It suits the story, because Divya turns out to be the trouble nobody should have troubled. The Malayalam version of the trailer reportedly carries a voiceover by Mohanlal, and the Tamil version one by Kamal Haasan.

Shashank Yeleti directs and SS Rajamouli presents the film, which is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda, Prasad Devineni and SS Karthikeya. Reports credit Kaala Bhairava with the music, Brad Francis with the camera and Praveen Anthony with the edit, with VFX carrying a large share of the load. Saurabh Sachdeva plays a key role.

This is Fahadh's return to Telugu cinema after his turn as the villain in the Pushpa films, and it could hardly be a bigger swing away from it. The film arrives in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam on October 2.
