Vijay Sethupathi's Tamil film Baththa kept climbing through its second weekend, collecting Rs 3.10 crore net in India on Sunday, October 11, its 11th day in theatres. That pushes its India net total to Rs 23.20 crore.

Sunday's number was 3.7% up on Saturday's Rs 2.99 crore. The film played across 1,767 shows that day, and its domestic gross now stands at Rs 26.81 crore.

Each day of the weekend beat the one before it. Baththa opened the weekend with Rs 1.65 crore on Friday, October 9, jumped on Saturday and saved its best figure of the three days for Sunday. The film had already banked Rs 15.46 crore in its first week, so the momentum has carried well past the opening run.

The lead actor has also turned his attention to Kerala, where the film has found strong support. "A big thank you to Kerala for showering Baththa with so much love!" Vijay Sethupathi wrote on social media. He said he truly wished he could be there with fans in person, and asked them to keep the love coming and to continue blessing the film.
