Venkatesh's January 12 Vidudala enters final stretch, Ooty schedule up next

Victory Venkatesh and director Anil Ravipudi are joining hands once again, and their new film, January 12 Vidudala, has entered the last stretch of its shoot. The entertainer will reach theatres on January 12, and reports say it is lined up as a Sankranti release in 2027.

The team is on a short break right now. Venkatesh has stepped away to finish the pending portions of his other film, Aadarsha Kutumbam, which is reportedly releasing on October 9, 2026. Once that work is done, the unit moves to Ooty for the next schedule, which begins in the first week of October.

After Ooty, the makers will travel overseas to shoot songs, with a couple of numbers planned for foreign locations. The bulk of the shoot is set to be completed in October, and the leftover portions will be filmed in November. Reports say the entire shoot could be wrapped before the middle of November, which would give Anil Ravipudi plenty of time for post-production.

That quick pace suits the director's track record. Anil Ravipudi is reportedly known for finishing his films in fast, well-planned schedules without long breaks or delays, and none of his projects is said to have gone over budget.

Kalyan Ram plays the other lead alongside Venkatesh, while Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty are the female leads. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music, and reports say he has already started on the background score, with dubbing work also underway. Sahu Garapati is producing the film, with Suresh Productions and Zee Studios also backing the project.
