Ranveer Singh takes delivery of a Rs 1.95 crore BMW i7 electric sedan
Ranveer Singh has added the BMW i7, the all-electric version of the flagship 7 Series sedan priced at Rs 1.95 crore, to his car collection.
Ranveer Singh has a new electric car in his garage. The actor has taken delivery of the BMW i7, the all-electric version of the German brand's flagship 7 Series sedan, priced at Rs 1.95 crore.
The purchase strengthens his tie with the carmaker. In September, BMW India named Ranveer its brand ambassador, and he introduced the latest 7 Series range at a launch event in New Delhi.
His car is the i7 50 xDrive. BMW rates it at 455 hp and 600 Nm of torque, and claims it reaches 100 kmph from a standstill in 5.5 seconds. A 112.5 kWh battery gives a claimed range of up to 728 km on the WLTP cycle.
Comfort gets as much attention as speed. The cabin has executive lounge seating, a large entertainment screen for the rear seats and a Bowers & Wilkins sound system. The car is built at BMW Group's Chennai plant, which makes India the only country outside Germany to produce the electric flagship.
He collected the sedan in person. Reports say his garage already holds another electric heavyweight, the GMC Hummer EV, along with a Lamborghini Urus, a Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600, a Range Rover and an Aston Martin Rapide S.
