Arijit Singh announces nine-city India tour for 2027, Hyderabad on the list
Arijit Singh will celebrate 20 years in music with a nine-city India tour from January to May 2027, and Hyderabad is one of the stops.
Arijit Singh is going back on the road. The playback singer has announced a nine-city tour of India. It starts in January 2027, ends in May and celebrates his two decades in music. Hyderabad is on the list, so fans in the Telugu states will get a night of their own with one of the country's most loved voices.
The tour will visit Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Mumbai, Bengaluru, New Delhi, Pune, Indore and Hyderabad. In a statement, Arijit said he feels very grateful for his 20 years in music. He said the best part has always been the listeners, who gave his songs a life of their own. He added that he is looking forward to travelling across India and sharing that love live on stage, ending with a simple "I can't wait."
The shows will be stadium-sized. Fans can expect 360-degree spatial audio, moving LED fixtures, panoramic screens, laser arrays and pyrotechnics, all part of a live production built to pull the crowd into the music. Team Innovation is producing and promoting the tour. Its founder, Mohit Bijlani, said every detail is being built to world-class standards. He promised fans a live show on a scale never seen before in the singer's home country.
Reports say thumpN will be the ticketing platform for all nine cities. Its CEO, Varun Khare, reportedly called Arijit one of the very few artists whose announcement makes the whole country ask when tickets go on sale.
This is reportedly Arijit's first major India tour since he said earlier this year that he would stop taking new playback work. His last India tour, One Night Only, reportedly ended in Delhi in March 2023 after shows in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Bengaluru. Songs he agreed to before stepping back are still coming out. Reports list "Phir Se" from Dhurandhar: The Revenge and "Ghar Kab Aaoge" from Border 2 among them.
