Jr NTR slams AI deepfake of Janhvi Kapoor from Devara's Chuttamalle song

Jr NTR has come out strongly against an AI deepfake video built around "Chuttamalle", the hit song from Devara. The morphed clip uses visuals of Janhvi Kapoor from the song. It began spreading on social media and quickly drew attention for all the wrong reasons.

In a post on social media, the actor called the video "disgusting, sick and shameless." He spoke of a culture that honours women as mothers and goddesses, where "Matrudevo Bhava" is a way of life. He said some people had now sunk so low that they were using AI to degrade a woman. For him, the issue is bigger than one fake clip. It is about technology being turned against a person's dignity and privacy.

NTR made it clear that he is ready to act. He said he would take legal action against the people who made the video and against those spreading it. He also asked people not to watch, share or engage with such material, because every view and every forward only helps it reach more people.

According to reports, the actor also warned that what happened to one woman today could happen to anyone tomorrow, including someone's mother, sister, wife or daughter. He reportedly called on state governments and the Central government to bring in stricter rules against the misuse of AI.

His warning seems to have worked. Reports say the video has now been removed from social media platforms after the backlash. Many people feel that strict laws are needed against those who create such videos and those who share them online just for fun.

The episode adds to growing worry about fake celebrity content made with AI, at a time when the technology is fast becoming part of the entertainment industry itself.
