Vijay Sethupathi and Puri Jagannadh wrap the Slum Dog: 33 Temple Road shoot

Shooting has finished on Slum Dog: 33 Temple Road, the pan-India action film from director Puri Jagannadh with Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. The team shot its final schedule in Hyderabad.

Puri shared the news on social media. He wrote that the entire shoot was done and that the team was ready to take audiences on "a rollercoaster of emotions on the big screens." He also promised that the release date would be announced soon.

Post-production is now in its last stretch, and the makers plan to step up promotions. The film will release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.

Samyuktha plays the female lead. Tabu, Duniya Vijay and Zarina Wahab have key parts, and Brahmaji and VTV Ganesh play supporting roles. The character glimpses have drawn attention, most of all for hints that Vijay Sethupathi plays a man with poor eyesight. Tabu's glimpse presents her as a fearless and powerful officer.

The film is produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under the Puri Connects banner, together with JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla's JB Motion Pictures.
