Tu Hai Meri Kiran trailer: Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal in a tale of obsessive love

The trailer for Tu Hai Meri Kiran is out. It places Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal at the centre of a dark story about one-sided love that slowly becomes an obsession. Karan Rawal directs the film, and Vishal Rana produces it under the Echelon Productions banner. The thriller opens in theatres on October 23, 2026.

The preview starts on a calm note and then grows tense. Sonakshi reportedly plays Kiran, a confident and free-spirited woman. Zaheer's character goes from an admirer to a possessive, fixated lover. The makers keep most of the plot hidden, and the trailer leaves viewers unsure of what is real and what the characters only believe to be true.

Reports say the title nods to the well-known Tu Hai Meri Kiran idea from Shah Rukh Khan's Darr, while giving the stalker thriller a more modern, psychological feel. The two leads are also a real-life couple, according to reports, which has added extra interest in the pairing.

According to reports, Sonakshi said the role took her into very new territory. She said she was drawn to the film's uneasy world, where one feeling can grow into something far more consuming. Zaheer called it a special project. He said the way it handles one-sided love and its steady sense of suspense pulled him in, and that working with Sonakshi made the experience even better.

Producer Vishal Rana said the team liked how the film looks at obsession and the danger that can come from it. He also praised the suspense Karan built around the characters. Karan said he wanted a thriller that keeps the audience asking what is real and what is hidden. He credited his two leads with bringing depth to their roles.

The central twist is still under wraps, so fans will have to wait for the October 23 release to see where this story of love and obsession ends up.
