Teja Sajja to host The Traitors Telugu, premiering on Prime Video on October 15

Teja Sajja is stepping out of the film frame and into the reality arena. Prime Video has announced The Traitors Telugu, the first Telugu edition of its international reality format, with the actor as host. The series premieres worldwide on October 15, 2026, and streams in Telugu with English subtitles.

The format pits two groups against each other under one roof. Twenty participants from varied backgrounds enter the game, most of them as Innocents who must work together to spot the saboteurs hiding among them. A few are secretly appointed as Traitors, and their job is to steer the game their way without being found out, while shifting alliances and sudden betrayals keep everyone guessing.

Produced by SOL Productions, the show runs for 10 episodes spread across four weeks, with a fresh episode dropping every Thursday at 12 PM. It arrives after two seasons of the Hindi version, and the franchise itself has been adapted in more than 30 countries.

Prime Video has also put out an announcement glimpse in which Teja walks viewers through the rules. He explains the different kinds of traitors in the game and offers a peek at the mind games the contestants will have to survive. His energy and spontaneity are expected to give the Telugu edition its own identity, and the show is reportedly his first outing as a reality television host.

Nikhil Madhok, Director and Head of Originals at Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios India, said Teja's natural charisma and relatable personality give the show a strong base to connect with Telugu audiences in India and abroad. Fazila Allana, Partner and Co-Founder of SOL Productions, said the production blends dramatic tension with local cultural sensibilities, and called Teja's confident presence central to the game.

For Telugu reality show fans, the pitch is straightforward. Nobody in the house can be fully trusted, and one wrong call can flip the whole game. The Traitors Telugu streams exclusively on Prime Video from October 15.
