Jubin Nautiyal becomes a father, welcomes baby boy on Ganesh Chaturthi

Singer Jubin Nautiyal has become a father. He and his wife welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on September 14, a date that fell on Ganesh Chaturthi this year. The singer confirmed the news himself in an interview and said both mother and child are doing well and have returned home.

Jubin described the arrival as a blessing tied to an auspicious day. "Yes, I am a father now," he said, adding that his son was born on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi. The family has spent the days since at home, taking in the first moments with the newborn.

There is no name yet. Jubin said the couple has not thought about one and is in no hurry, choosing instead to soak in the time with their baby boy. Fans who want to know what the little one will be called will have to wait.

The new father is already thinking about the pull of work. Jubin has a UK tour scheduled for December, and he admitted that leaving home for it will be hard. "When I have to travel out of town, I know it's going to be tough," he said, adding that he is spending every minute with his little one right now and that it feels great.

Jubin reportedly married his childhood sweetheart in a private ceremony in Uttarakhand in mid-April this year. Reports say he kept the wedding away from the spotlight, though pictures from the ceremony later surfaced online, and he has not shared his wife's name or profession publicly.

Jubin remains one of the leading voices in Hindi film music. His hits include Raataan Lambiyan from Shershaah, along with songs such as Tum Hi Aana, Lut Gaye, Humnava Mere, Kaabil Hoon and Zindagi Kuch Toh Bata from Bajrangi Bhaijaan. For now, though, the singer's focus is firmly on home.
