Siva Karthikeyan's 'Maaveeran' Might Be Preponed

There's a buzz in Tamil film circles that the release of Siva Karthikeyan's much-awaited film, 'Maaveeran', might be preponed to July, as Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' is scheduled to release in August. The film, directed by National Award winner Madonne Ashwin, stars Aditi Shankar in the female lead role and has been generating a lot of buzz in Tamil Nadu.

The makers of 'Maaveeran' are reportedly considering the preponement to avoid clashing with 'Jailer', which is one of the most anticipated films in Tamil due to the star power of Rajinikanth and its massive cast. 'Maaveeran', which will be titled 'Mahaveerudu' in Telugu, is produced by Arun Viswa under Shanthi Talkies. An official announcement about the preponement is expected to be made soon.
