Salman Khan twins in cowboy hats with father Salim Khan, calls him the 'real monster'

Salman Khan shared a set of photos with his father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, on Thursday, the two of them twinning in matching cowboy hats.

The caption mixed jokes with feeling. "Howdy partner hee haw at 91," Salman began, before adding, "A father is a father. He is the real monster." He also wrote that every passing day is not one more day but one day less, and signed off by saying God had been kind.

Fans filled the comments with praise for the father and son bond. Some crowned the actor a "caption king".

His father is still his first stop for advice. In an interview, Salman said that whenever he is confused about something, he takes it to Salim and does exactly what his father tells him. On Koffee With Karan 9, where he was the first guest, he told Karan Johar, "I want to have children at some point in the future."

On the work front, Salman will next be seen in Maatrubhumi, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, with Chitrangda Singh. The film's release has been pushed back, and the makers have not yet announced a new date.

There is a Telugu link as well. Reports say he has a film titled Monster in production, backed by Dil Raju and directed by Vamshi Paidipally, with Nayanthara in a lead role and a theatrical release planned for Eid 2027.
