Parvathy Thiruvothu's crime thriller Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar is now streaming on Netflix. It arrived on the platform on October 9.

Parvathy plays Aleena Abraham, a mother who has only just joined the police. Her life changes overnight when a man dies inside her own station, and the incident leaves hard questions hanging over everyone who works there.

Those questions land on the desk of investigator Harris Meeran. As he works through the clues, he starts to suspect that the truth is being covered up. The story then turns into a battle of wits between Harris and Aleena. Every new detail can change how the case looks, and that keeps each of their face-offs tense.

Viewers are already comparing the film to Drishyam. This time, though, the person guarding the secret wears a police uniform herself, and the man trying to break it open is an investigator who knows exactly where to look.
