Kiss Ka Kissa: Priyanshu Painyuli and Vandana Joshi short film out October 22
Real-life couple Priyanshu Painyuli and Vandana Joshi star in Kiss Ka Kissa, a romantic Hindi short film from Vidhi Kasliwal's Landmarc Entertainment, directed by Ashish Sharma and releasing on October 22, 2026.
Real-life couple Priyanshu Painyuli and Vandana Joshi will share the screen in Kiss Ka Kissa, a romantic Hindi short film releasing on October 22, 2026. Landmarc Entertainment, headed by filmmaker and producer Vidhi Kasliwal, announced the project.
The story is set in Mumbai. In a crowded city where a couple can barely get a few minutes alone, even a simple kiss turns into an adventure. The humour comes from ordinary, everyday situations, not from big romantic gestures.
Ashish Sharma wrote and directed the film. It is his first fiction project after more than ten years of making ad films, music videos and branded content. He said he wanted to tell a simple, feel-good story about the small romantic dreams people carry from their younger days, the ones life sometimes leaves unfinished.
Kasliwal said the film's simplicity is what drew her in. "Sometimes the smallest moments carry the deepest emotions," she said. She once worked at Rajshri Productions with Sooraj R. Barjatya, and later wrote and directed her first film, Isi Life Mein.
Aarti Bagdi is the creative producer, Vikrant Thakur is the cinematographer and Puloma Pal is the editor. Sarthak Karkare composed the music, wrote the lyrics and did the background score. Prince Kumar of Casting Cubicle handled casting, and K. R. Mahadevan is the executive producer.
Over 15 years, Landmarc has made films including Sanngto Aika, Vazandar, Ringan, Gachchi, Redu, Pipsi, Nashibvaan and Medium Spicy. The company is now growing into Landmarc Entertainment, with Landmarc Films, Landmarc Melodies and Landmarc Digital as its first three arms.
