Dhurandhar actress Sara Arjun in line to star opposite Ram Charan in RC17

Sara Arjun, who shot to fame with Dhurandhar, is the frontrunner to play the female lead opposite Ram Charan in RC17, his second film with director Sukumar.

The makers have approached her for the role. The team has not made any official announcement on her casting yet.

RC17 brings the star and the director back together after Rangasthalam. Mythri Movie Makers is producing, and RC17 is only a working title for now. The project is set to get moving later this month, and the director's team recently shared pictures of Sukumar and his crew moving into a lavish new office.

Music is still open. Anirudh Ravichander is in the running to compose the score. That would be a change for Sukumar, who has worked with Devi Sri Prasad for years. The makers have not named a composer so far.
