Sara Arjun finalised as female lead in Ram Charan and Sukumar's RC17

Sara Arjun has been finalised as the female lead of RC17, Ram Charan's next film with director Sukumar. Mythri Movie Makers is producing the film, which still goes by its working title.

The actress drew attention with the Dhurandhar films and has not taken up a new project since. RC17 will be her first film after Dhurandhar, and it gives her a leading role opposite Ram Charan.

Her name was settled after talks with the makers, and she has agreed to the role. Reports say the formal agreements are still to be signed, so no official announcement has been made yet.

Work on the film is moving ahead. A formal launch is expected this month, and regular shooting will start later, before the end of the year.
