Nara Lokesh has praised the trailer of Ranabaali, calling it "an immersive experience" in a post on social media.

The period detail is what won him over. Lokesh singled out the way the film rebuilds 1800s Rayalaseema and shows the famine and oppression of the British era, and he called that work "phenomenal".

He also had kind words for the cast. Vijay Deverakonda, he wrote, looks "effortlessly fierce and completely at home in the soil of Seema", and he credited Rashmika Mandanna with anchoring him brilliantly. Lokesh congratulated director Rahul Sankrityan and the whole team for bringing what he called a powerful, untold chapter of history to life. He closed by wishing them big success on October 16, the day the film opens.

Mythri Movie Makers, the banner behind Ranabaali, was quick to reply. "It means a lot to us," the makers wrote as they thanked him. They added that the team had put their hearts into telling this story and hoped it would strike a chord with everyone who watches it.
