Kartik Aaryan's Dhamaka set for OTT release 

Karthik Aaryan Starrer Dhamaka is all set for an OTT release. The movie is directed by Ram Madhvani and was initially slated for a theatrical release. But now it is heading towards OTT release. Kartik Aaryan finally agreed to a direct to OTT release of Dhamaka. The news is abuzz that Kartik Aaryan had entered into a deal with the makers of Dhamaka. The deal involved paying him a sum of Rs. 10 cr. as fees along with a share of the profits from its theatrical release. 

Karthik off-late has become a bankable star with most of his movies doing good business at the box office, keeping this in mind Ronnie Screwvala made an agreement with Kartik which included a share of the film’s profits along with Rs. 10 cr. fee. Although Karthik is a bankable star he is yet not that huge in the industry, capable enough to influence the producers. Karthik made it clear to the filmmakers that he was expecting a huge paycheck and while the talks were on with Netflix for the OTT release, they paid him an extra Rs.7 cr to agree. Things cleared for Hungama for an OTT release.
