Jailer 2 skips audio launch for a three-hour Sun TV special interview
Instead of a grand audio launch, Jailer 2 will promote itself with a three-hour special interview airing on Sun TV on October 11, four days before the Rajinikanth film opens in theatres on October 15.
Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 is skipping the grand audio launch that usually comes with his films. The makers have lined up a three-hour special interview on Sun TV instead, ahead of the film's theatrical release on October 15.
The interview airs on October 11, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. That fills the whole prime-time slot, just four days before the film reaches theatres.
The songs still got their own stage. There was no big public function with the cast and crew. The makers unveiled the album at Jailer 2 RAVE, an event held for a select group of fans, where composer Anirudh Ravichander and the singers performed the tracks live.
Nelson Dilipkumar directs the sequel to Jailer, with Rajinikanth back in the lead.
