Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi release date postponed yet again

The pandemic acts up again and now it's again the film industry that is taking the initial big blow of the lockdown. Sooryavanshi is one of the much-awaited films in Bollywood people are yearning to watch in theatres. After too many postponements, this film was scheduled to be released on April 30th. But considering the present living conditions of our country, the spread of the coronavirus is much intense and rapid this time. The second wave of this notorious virus has been extreme and cases in Maharashtra particularly are at a high peak. This ultimately led the government to take the harsh judgment of declaring a semi-lockdown till April 30. It wouldn't take a genius to realize that this lockdown will sabotage the planned release of Sooryavanshi and several other films. Therefore it has been confirmed that the release date has been delayed yet again.

To give a few insights about this film, Sooryavanshi is truly a multi-starrer and high-budgeted film which has been directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by a group collaboration of Rohit Shetty, Karan Johar, Hiroo Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Apoorva Mehta under the banners of Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Picturez, Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films. This film stars Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif playing the lead roles along with Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, and Javed Jaffrey playing pivotal roles. Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh will also be playing extended cameo roles.
