Rohit Shetty Opens Up About Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi Release Date

Up until now, Akshay Kumar's upcoming film, Sooryavanshi release date has been postponed thrice. This fact is certainly frustrating for both the filmmakers and the fans at this point. Recently, to clear any further dilemma, instead of coming up with a specific date, director Rohit Shetty made an ambiguous statement. In the interview, he stated that the release date of Sooryavanshi can only be fixated once the theatres open up. Considering the state this country is in, that won't happen for at least a few months. All we have to do now is to wait till we get another official update from the film crew of Sooryavanshi.

To give a few insights about this film, Sooryavanshi is truly a multi-starrer and high-budgeted film which is directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by a group collaboration of Rohit Shetty, Karan Johar, Hiroo Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Apoorva Mehta under the banners of Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Picturez, Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films. This film stars Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif playing the lead roles along with Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, and Javed Jaffrey playing pivotal roles. Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh will also be playing extended cameo roles.
