Aamir Khan's niece Zayn Marie shows bruises after detention at Mumbai protest

Zayn Marie, the niece of Aamir Khan, has posted a video showing several marks on her body after police detained her at a protest in Mumbai.

She joined the Cockroach Janta Party demonstration in the city with actor Imran Khan. The crowd wanted Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar to resign, and both actors were among the people the police took away.

In the clip, Zayn looks straight into the camera and points out the bruises. Her message to viewers was about fear: "Do not scare us so much that no fear is left in the first place."

The Mumbai gathering backed the party's wider campaign against the election chief. Police in Delhi have detained more than 2,000 protesters linked to the same movement.
