Aamir Khan stops dyeing his hair, Subhash Ghai says he is studying a character

Aamir Khan has stopped dyeing his hair. The actor showed off his natural grey look at a recent panel discussion with filmmaker Subhash Ghai.

The change, he said, has nothing to do with any upcoming role. He had simply grown tired of colouring his hair over and over. "This look is nothing special, I just stopped dyeing my hair," Aamir said, adding in Hindi that it had been getting boring.

Ghai had another reading. The filmmaker pointed out that the star's changing looks usually tie back to the work he puts into his roles, and said in jest, "You see, whenever you look at him with a different setup, you should understand that he's studying a character."

A journalist also asked Aamir whether fans would see him soon in Andaz Apna Apna 2 or in Lalkaar, Ashutosh Gowariker's biopic on Lala Amarnath. He said he too is looking forward to the sequel of the cult classic. On Lalkaar, he would not commit. Talking about a film too early looks bad if it then does not happen, he explained. "When things are ready, and they're completely final, we will keep everything in front of you," he said.

His most recent film on screen was Sitaare Zameen Par.
