Konidela Ram Charan Teja is a popular South Indian actor, known to the Telugu audience as Mega Power Star. He was born to the couple Chiranjeevi Konidela and Surekha. He has two sisters, an elder sister, namely Sushmita, and a younger sister, Srija. His father is a Mega Star in the Tollywood industry, and his grandfather is a legendary comedian Allu Rama Lingaiah.   He was born on 27 March 1985, in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. He is a college dropout who chose acting at a very young age and had to forfeit studies. He made his acting debut with Chirutha movie in 2007. His debut movie was a super hit, but the turning point in his career came with Magadheera (2009), directed by S.S.Rajamouli. He did several great films working with great directors, young and old. Rangasthalam(2018), directed by Sukumar, established him as a versatile actor.  He won 2 Nandi awards, 6 Filmfare Awards South, and many more. He is also a producer and finances movies under Konidela Production Company. Besides, he owns the polo team Ram Charan Hyderabad Polo Riding Club. He is the co-owner of the obstacle running series Devil's Circuit. He established his own airline company, Trujet.  He was twice in news for controversies, once when he had a scuffle with two software engineers for misbehaving with his security and the other when there a party at his home making a loud noise at late night, police seriously warned him in that instance.  He is married to Upasana Kamineni, who is the granddaughter of Prathap C. Reddy, the Executive Chairman of the Apollo Hospitals. Upasana also heads the Charity wing of Apollo hospitals as the Vice-Chairman of Apollo Charity and is the Chief-Editor of B-positive Magazine.
