Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna's Ranabaali opens in theatres on October 16

Ranabaali, the period action drama that brings Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna back on screen together, releases in theatres on October 16. Rahul Sankrityan directs it.

Reports say Mythri Movie Makers has sold the film's non-theatrical rights for Rs 82 crore. Netflix paid Rs 52 crore for streaming in all languages, and the other rights brought in Rs 30 crore. That covers a big part of the investment before a single ticket is sold.

Vijay is openly backing the film. The actor has said he is confident in Ranabaali and believes its content will connect with viewers once the shows begin.

This is an important release for him. How audiences talk about the opening shows will decide how far the film goes at the box office.
