Trivikram confirms script is ready for Jr NTR's mythological film, title still open

Jr NTR and director Trivikram Srinivas are working together again after Aravinda Sametha. This time the pair are taking on an ambitious film with mythological roots, and Trivikram has now shared a big update: the full script is ready.

The director spoke about the project in a special interview with anchor Suma, given while promoting his upcoming film Aadarsha Kutumbam. He confirmed that the final script has been locked. He also said the team has not settled on a title yet.

The story draws on the legend of Lord Murugan. God of War has been talked about as a possible title for a long time, and Devasenapathi is reportedly also being considered. According to reports, the first look poster that Tarak unveiled showed Lord Murugan's Vel, the divine spear, with a DNA strand rising from it.

S. Radha Krishna and Kalyan Ram are producing the film under the Haarika & Hassine Creations and NTR Arts banners. Reports say the project will go on the floors in 2027, and it is being described as a large scale mythological venture.

Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, and he will reportedly handle both the songs and the background score. He has reportedly worked with both men before, scoring Devara for NTR and Agnyaathavaasi, starring Pawan Kalyan, for Trivikram.

NTR was last seen in a key role in War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan, a film that is reportedly now streaming on Netflix. Next, he will headline Dragon, an action entertainer directed by Prashanth Neel, with Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead. Reports say Dragon is set to release on June 11, 2027.
