"Tiger 3" Roars Past Rs. 250 Crore: Box Office Journey Amid Mixed Reviews

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's spy thriller, "Tiger 3," achieves a significant milestone, crossing Rs 250 crore in domestic box office collections after two weeks, despite facing criticism for its content.

Bollywood's much-anticipated spy thriller, "Tiger 3," featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, hit the screens on November 12, coinciding with Diwali festivities. However, despite the initial excitement, the film faced criticism for its lackluster content, leaving fans and trade circles underwhelmed, and failing to ignite the box office as expected.

After two weeks in theaters, "Tiger 3" has finally crossed the significant milestone of Rs 250 crore nett in the domestic box office. The film experienced a notable upswing, witnessing a nearly 50 percent surge in collections on its 2nd Saturday (Nov 24), with approximately Rs 6 crore nett. This surge propelled the film into the Rs 250 crore nett club, with the latest India nett total standing at Rs 251.50 crore.

Trade analysts are now speculating on the film's lifetime collection, estimating it to close around Rs 275-280 crore. However, this projection is contingent on the audience response to Ranbir Kapoor's upcoming film, "Animal," set to release on December 1. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the "Tiger" franchise, part of the YRF spy universe, is produced by renowned Bollywood filmmaker Aditya Chopra.
