Thalapathy Vijay's colossal star power in India is beyond dispute, with most of his recent films grossing over Rs 300 crore worldwide. His highly anticipated pan-India gangster drama, "Leo," is poised for a colossal box office opening on October 19.
Even before its release, "Leo" has already begun breaking numerous records, thanks to its massive pre-sales in key global markets. "Leo" is on track to surpass the pre-sale records of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's last two hits, "Jawan" and "Pathaan," in the UK. Pre-sales for "Leo" in the United Kingdom have already exceeded £302K.
With 15 days remaining until its release, "Leo" is not only set to surpass SRK's "Jawan" (£307K) and "Pathaan" (£307K) comfortably but also establish an unprecedented pre-sale total for any Indian film in the UK. Salman Khan's "Sultan" (£271K) and SRK's "Chennai Express" (£258K) round out the UK's top 5 pre-sale grossers for Indian films. The anticipation for "Leo" continues to soar.
