Tamil superstar Suriya's highly anticipated period action drama, "Kanguva," is one of the most eagerly awaited films slated for a 2024 release. The action-packed teaser of the film has already raised expectations among fans and in trade circles. "Kanguva" is set to release in the summer of 2024 in 10 languages and will be available in both 2D and 3D formats.

The film has now entered a crucial phase, with its final schedule commencing in the picturesque Southeast Asian country of Thailand. Suriya and the rest of the crew arrived in Bangkok to kick-start a three-week-long shoot in the dense forests of Thailand. Following the Thailand schedule, the "Kanguva" team will return to Chennai for some minor patchwork. The entire shoot is expected to be completed by November.

"Kanguva" also stars Bollywood actors Disha Patani and Bobby Deol, alongside Jagapathi Babu and Yogi Babu in prominent roles. Directed by Siva, the film features a soundtrack composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The project is jointly bankrolled by leading Tamil and Telugu production houses, Studio Green and UV Creations, making it a prestigious endeavor in Indian cinema.
