TEASER RELEASE: Sai Tej's "Republic" Teaser Receiving Much-deserved Hype!

Renowned for the films Prasthanam and Vennela, director Deva Katta has now come up with a political drama film which has been titled "Republic". The teaser has a captivating vibe to it and it also has a tendency to make the audience stick to their seats. This is because the trailer begins with George Orwell’s opinion on politics and how they are rooted deeply into people’s lives. This famous novelist was known for his political antagonistic masterpieces which his readers find eerily relatable today.

The teaser then continues with Sai Tej’s voice-over on constitutionalism and its crumbling establishments. The hero expresses that the world today is living in a feudal system. He also states that the courts and people have converted into brainwashed adherents of the rulers.

By the looks of it, Sai Tej is portraying the role of a bureaucrat in this film while Ramya Krishna is witnessed as a political leader striving for elections. The teaser ultimately ends with an intense and horrifying line that says. “Vyavastha Punadhule Corrupt Ayinappudu, Andaru Corrupt Ye Sir.”

Republic is said to be released on 4th June 2021, but it is most likely to be postponed due to a rapid surge in the COVID-19 cases. This film is directed by Deva Katta while the cinematography was done by M. Sukumar. It is produced by a dual collaboration of J. Bhagawan and J. Pullarao under the banner of JB Entertainments.
