Sai Dharam Tej's Republic Might Not Sit Well With The Real Life Politicians

The blunt representation of the current political system in the film Republic might create a media mess since it will certainly offend many current politicians.

Renowned for the films Prasthanam and Vennela, director Deva Katta has now come up with a political drama film which has been titled "Republic".

The trailer itself had a captivating vibe to it. This is because the trailer begins with George Orwell’s opinion on politics and how they are rooted deeply into people’s lives. This famous novelist was known for his political antagonistic masterpieces which his readers find eerily relatable today.

The plot of this film revolves around constitutionalism and its crumbling establishments in our country. The world we live in today is a feudal system where the justice courts and people have converted into brainwashed disciples of the rulers.

Certainly, this film will not sit well with the politicians of this country. One has to wait and observe what the film Republic has to show and how it subdues the hindrances by the censorship board as controversies that might arise after this film will be massive.

Republic was said to be released on 4th June 2021, but it is postponed due to a rapid surge in the COVID-19 cases. This film is directed by Deva Katta while the cinematography was done by M. Sukumar. It is produced by a dual collaboration of J. Bhagawan and J. Pullarao under the banner of JB Entertainments.
