Chiranjeevi, the celebrated Megastar of Telugu cinema, had a smashing success with his last release, Waltair Veerayya, which went on to become the highest-grossing film among the Sankranthi Telugu releases. His fans are eagerly waiting for his next venture, Bholaa Shankar, which is currently in the production stage. This action-comedy entertainer features Keerthy Suresh, a popular star heroine, in the role of Chiru's sister, and the latest update on the film is that Akkineni hero Sushanth will be playing the role of the romantic lead in the movie.

The production team announced Sushanth's casting as a lover boy in the film, as a special birthday surprise for the actor. Fans are now speculating that Sushanth's character is likely to be the romantic interest of Keerthy Suresh's character in the movie.

Initially slated for release on April 14, the film's release has been postponed due to production delays. However, fans are eagerly anticipating the new release date, which is yet to be announced. Tamannaah Bhatia has been cast as the female lead in Bholaa Shankar, which is being directed by Meher Ramesh, with production by AK Entertainments. The movie's music is composed by Mahati Swara Sagar.
