Shraddha Kapoor's red saree clip from the Eetha sets has fans asking for the song

Shraddha Kapoor is trending again. This time it is a short behind-the-scenes clip from the sets of her upcoming film Eetha that has fans talking. The video shows the actress in a traditional look, dressed in a red saree and dancing through what appears to be a song shoot. Social media users have been praising both her look and her moves.

The glimpse is brief, but it was enough to start a wave of requests for the makers to put out the track. One user on X said they had watched the clip far too many times and wanted the song released right away. Another fan felt Shraddha had changed so completely for the part that they could not recognise her, and said December could not come soon enough. Reportedly, the makers have not yet shared any details about the song seen in the clip.

The buzz builds on the response to the Eetha teaser, which was first shown with Cocktail 2 before it was released online. Her performance in it drew plenty of attention. Some fans have gone as far as predicting that the role could be one of the most important of her career and could even put her in the running for major acting awards.

Eetha was first set to reach theatres on August 28, 2026. The release was later moved to December 4, which kept it away from a box office clash with Yash's Toxic, set for August 26. The new date still has competition, though. Anees Bazmee's yet-to-be-titled film starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan is also lined up for December 4.

The film is directed by Laxman Utekar, whose last film Chhaava became a major box office success. According to reports, Eetha tells the story of Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar, the celebrated Lavani and Tamasha folk artist from Maharashtra, which makes it one of Shraddha's most awaited projects.
