Sambarala Yeti Gattu Holds January 12 Date Despite Sankranthi 2027 Clash

Sai Dharam Tej's Sambarala Yeti Gattu is not budging from its Sankranthi slot. Producer Chaitanya Reddy has confirmed that the film will arrive in theatres on January 12, 2027, as originally planned. That ends the talk that the team might step aside for a bigger release.

The speculation began after Megastar Chiranjeevi's Kaaka was announced for January 13, just one day after the date the Sambarala Yeti Gattu team had already locked. With two major films landing back to back during the festival, many expected the Sai Dharam Tej film to move to a different window.

Chaitanya Reddy has now put those doubts to rest. She pointed out that her team announced its release date first, so there is no reason to shift. She also shared that filming is fully wrapped and post-production has reached its final stages, which keeps the project on track for the festive holiday.

The film holds a special place in Sai Dharam Tej's filmography. It is the most expensive project of his career so far and has been in the making for more than two years. Rohit KP is directing, and Primeshow Entertainment, the banner behind Hanuman, has reportedly made a big investment to bring it to the big screen.

The Sankranthi 2027 race could get even busier. There is buzz that Chiranjeevi's Vishwambhara may also hit theatres on January 9, though for now that remains a rumour. What is certain is that the makers of Sambarala Yeti Gattu are firmly in the contest, and Sai Dharam Tej fans can mark January 12 on their calendars.
