The legendary off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan, the sole bowler in the history of International Test cricket to claim 800 wickets, is the subject of an authentic biopic titled '800.' Recently, Movie Train Motion Pictures released the trailer for the film, and the launch event took place in Mumbai, graced by none other than the 'God of Cricket,' Sachin Tendulkar.
Madhur Mittal, renowned for 'Slumdog Millionaire,' takes on the challenging role of Muralidharan in the movie, with Mahima Nambiar portraying Madhimalar Ramamurthy, the former cricketer's wife. The film is skillfully directed by MS Sripathy and co-written by Shehan Karunatilaka, the Booker Prize laureate of 2022.

Presented by senior Tollywood producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad of Sridevi Movies, '800' is slated for release in October and will hit screens across the country in multiple languages.
