Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' to clash with Chiranjeevi's 'Bholaa Shankar' in August

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming action drama, Jailer, is set to clash with Telugu Megastar Chiranjeevi's highly anticipated commercial entertainer, Bholaa Shankar, in a box office battle of the Titans.

The makers of Jailer announced its worldwide release on August 10, one day before the release of Bholaa Shankar on August 11, which coincides with the Indian Independence Day holiday.

With both Rajini and Chiru being huge crowd-pullers in their respective states, this epic clash is expected to see at least Rs 400 crores at stake. It remains to be seen whether this high-stakes showdown will impact the box office prospects of both movies.
