Premada Oorali holds strong on third Tuesday, India total passes Rs 57 crore net

Kannada romantic comedy Premada Oorali earned Rs 4.75 crore in India on its third Tuesday. That is a strong weekday hold on day 19 of its run.

After 19 days, its India total stands at Rs 57.72 crore net, which is close to Rs 64 crore gross.

The film started slowly. It made only about Rs 5 to 6 crore in its first week, then picked up speed. Week two brought in more than four times that amount. The third weekend peaked on Sunday, day 17, when it collected Rs 8 crore net, its best single day so far.

Trade experts say Premada Oorali has now sold 27.08 lakh tickets, against 21.6 lakh for Yash's Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups. That makes it the highest ticket-selling Kannada film of 2026. Toxic still leads on collections, because tickets for Premada Oorali have stayed under Rs 250.

For a light-hearted family comedy, the margins are rare. The film was reportedly made for just Rs 3 crore.
