NTR Jr recalls a lonely debut day and the families who stood by him

NTR Jr turned emotional at the pre-release event of Don't Trouble The Trouble, speaking about the loneliness he felt when his acting career began. Rather than keeping his speech to the film alone, the actor looked back at his early days and at the people who, over the years, became family to him.

According to reports, his debut film Ninnu Choodalani opened on November 16, 2000, a date that still holds deep meaning for him. He reportedly said his mother did not attend because she generally avoided public appearances, while his father stayed away on purpose, wanting his son to learn to stand on his own feet and face the industry by himself. NTR recalled going to that launch alone and feeling sad and lonely.

With time, he said, that gap was filled. The love of his fans and the backing of the film fraternity gave him the confidence and strength to keep going. He also spoke about how his association with S S Rajamouli brought the director's family and the family of M M Keeravaani close to him, and said that apart from his fans, he feels blessed to have them in his life.

The speech also turned to Karthikeya. NTR reportedly said Karthikeya stood by him during a rough stretch when some of his films were not working and he was unsure of his next step. That support, according to reports, is why he sees Karthikeya as a younger brother. He is also said to have credited Karthikeya for backing Rajamouli's ambitious journey, including Baahubali and RRR.

His bond with Rajamouli goes back to Student No. 1, a working relationship that reportedly began 25 years ago and has since grown into something deeply personal. Looking back, NTR framed that lonely first day as a lesson in relying on himself, and the people he met along the way as the family that grew around him.
