Sreeleela joins Rajinikanth's Dharman in an important role

Sreeleela is the newest name on the cast of Superstar Rajinikanth's much awaited film Dharman. The Telugu actress plays an important role and is already shooting, and a leaked video from the sets shows her at work. Her arrival adds to the buzz around a project that fans are already following closely.

The film has a strong Tollywood connection. Ram Pothineni is part of the cast and reportedly began shooting his portions recently. Raashii Khanna, who plays a key role, earlier shared a picture of herself with Rajinikanth and Ram, and reports say it hinted that Ram has a powerful role. Simran and Yogi Babu are also said to play key roles.

Ashwath Marimuthu is directing Dharman. Reports say the shoot is running without a break in Mysore. Rajinikanth is said to play a doctor, and the film reportedly carries the tagline Deadly Doctor, which has only made movie lovers more curious.

Raaj Kamal Films International is producing the film, with Kamal Haasan reportedly backing it in a big way, and Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music. According to reports, Niketh Bommi is handling the cinematography and Pradeep Raghav the editing. Red Giant Movies will reportedly handle the worldwide release, and the team is said to be aiming for Sankranthi 2027.

Rajinikanth is also waiting for the release of Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar. That film is reportedly due in theatres on 15 October 2026, so fans have two big Rajinikanth projects to look forward to. For Telugu audiences, Sreeleela and Ram working on a project with the Superstar makes Dharman one to watch.
