Nani shows off his gangster chef look for Sujeeth's Bloody Romeo

Nani has begun getting into character for Bloody Romeo, his gangster drama with director Sujeeth. The film is set to start shooting soon.

In the film, he plays a gangster who poses as a chef to the outside world. Nani confirmed the role in a recent interview. He also hinted that the film treats its idea in a way Indian cinema has not tried before.

The team has shared a makeover video that shows how the new look came together. Nani now has a retro curly mullet, long hair and a thick, rough beard. Celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim created the look at his salon, and Sujeeth stayed for the session to make sure it matched the character he had in mind.

The video also drops clues about the role. Round dark sunglasses, a heavy butcher's apron and a cleaver all point to a cook with a dangerous side. Nani then posed for promotional photos in full costume, with a hard, menacing stare.

The look is a sharp turn from the rustic avatar Nani wore in The Paradise, his last release. Bloody Romeo is produced under the Niharika Entertainment banner.
