Nani says Nithiin's Alias Rukmini is shaping up to be very special

Nani has watched the rushes of Alias Rukmini, the Nithiin film he is producing, and he says it is coming together beautifully.

"I'm producing something very, very beautiful," Nani said in a recent interview. "I have seen the rushes. It is coming out really well. I'm so happy. That's going to be something very, very special."

He would not talk about the plot. Saying any more, Nani explained, would give the idea away. He did point fans to the announcement video, saying it already offers a sense of what the film is about.

Murali Kanth Devasoth is directing Alias Rukmini. He made his debut as a director with Dhandoraa. The first glimpse of the new film drew a good response when it was released.

For Nithiin, a lot rides on this one. The actor, known for feelgood romantic entertainers, has not had a box office hit in recent times, and his fans will take heart from the producer's words.
