Meet the witty housemate in BiggBoss, Abijeet

Here is a sneak peek into the life of BiggBoss star contestant Abijeet. Abijeet Duddala is an actor by profession and made his debut in Tollywood with the movie Life is Beautiful in 2012, directed by Sekhar Kammula. The film fared well at the box-office and was declared a super hit with collections around Rs.22 crores in the first week. Although he did quite a good number of movies after that, none of them got him the recognition which he enjoys now after entering BiggBoss Season 4.

It was the movie Ramleela directed by Sripuram Kiran, that got him accolades for his acting, although the picture didn't farewell as expected at the box-office.

Personal life:

Abijeet was born on 11th October 1988, and he recently celebrated his birthday in the BiggBoss house. He did most of his schooling from Chitoor, the then united Andhra Pradesh. This is probably cited as a reason for the Actor's accent in Telugu. He finished his graduation in Aeronautical Engineering from Malla Reddy College, Hyderabad.

He is an avid racer and has got quite a good number of bikes in his collection. A philanthropist at heart and supports most of the charitable causes and shows around the city. This was even evident in his appeal, which he made in BiggBoss 4 Saturday's episode when he requested Hyderabad citizens to shelter the stray animals during Diwali celebrations.

His connection with Charminar:

His ancestors reportedly moved to Hyderabad as laborers during the construction of Charminar. They did the job of mixing egg yolk to make a concrete mixture to build the structure and to fortify it. Abijeet has great respect for his ancestor's work and shares an equal amount of passion for the film industry.

His connection with Akkineni Family:

He studied in the same school where Naga Chaitanya had studied. He had always worshipped Nagarjuna as an inspiration to enter Tollywood, and eventually, his first film had his idol's wife (Akkineni Amala) as his co-star. Now, he is part of the show where his idol (Nagarjuna) is hosting it.
